Tim Edey

 Colyford Memorial Hall       £10

The incredible Tim Edey returns to East Devon.... Why?... well here is what people were saying after previous years' concerts at Jurassic Folk:

"Tim is the best thing we've seen and heard for -probably - the past 20 years! And Tim takes our breath away with his musicianship and

joie-de-vivre! His personality on stage (as well as off) is gorgeous - infectious!"

And... ".. a quite staggering display of virtuoso musicianship in the form of BBC2 Folk Awards 2012 double winner Tim Edey. A really humble, genuine and decent guy. His command of both melodeon and  Guitar were quite breathtaking

Having won both categories in which he was nominated at the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, "Best Musician" and "Best Duo" (with Brendan Power), Tim Edey is one of the finest multi-instrumental players of his generation in the worldwide Celtic music scene. A virtuoso on both acoustic guitar and button accordion, Tim's incredible musical ear and totatechnicacommand allows him to play the most demanding instrumentals and improvise freely in any style you throw at him.

Although Tim is a native of Kent, his mother is Irish, and he was captivated by Celtic music from an early age. You can check him out at and on numerous YouTube clips, including some from Jurassic Folk concerts.

Advance tickets £10. On the door, if any left, they will be £12.

It all happens at Colyford Memorial Hall, Swan Hill Rd, Colyford, Colyton, EX24 6QJ (Easy Parking) with doors open at 7.00pm.
